hazelnutty

A cookie made with Nutella? I was like hell ya. If you're like me and LOVE nutella then this might be the cookie for you. This cookie tends to lean in on a healthier scale, think more along the lines of granola, which we all know is one seriously pretty good thing... well maybe minus the butter but you can't disagree with oats, flaxseed, hazelnuts and the glory ingredient nutella now can we?
I've been bringing these to work the past couple of days for a somewhat healthy snack. There not very sweet but I love the nutty flavor and I find myself eating two at a time, of course.

recipe 1/2 cup melted butter 2/3 cup nutella or hazelnut spread 2 cups rolled oats 2/3 cups chopped roasted hazelnuts 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 cup whole ground flaxseed 1/2 cup flour 1 egg
Preheat oven to 400 F and grease a baking sheet. Place butter and nutella in a sauce pan and heat gently until just melted, cool slightly and beat in the egg. Meanwhile place all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix to comb…

Glazed, cinnamon sugared, or sprinkles. We love them all and we all know sometimes nothing is better then the simple goodness of a donut. I've been dying to make my own for some time now, so when I saw them on the Pioneer women's site, I couldn't help myself. I dived right in and they were pretty flipping awesome. Project 365. A photo a day seems simple and sometimes it is. But then it can be hard... like I said, hard. There is day's where I curse at myself for not bringing my camera then there's the days where I wish my camera was dead. Thought I'd rally up some of my 365's so far. market days: the goods

So you all might have thought I purchased those pretty awesome purple carrots... no I didn't. I actually bought some a while back from the same vendor and cooked this (scroll down). I did how ever manage to buy the candy cane beets, which are boiling up a storm as we speak... or as I write? Whichever, I picked up a few other things too. Truthfully if it was earlier and I wasn't planning to go anywhere else I would have bought sooo much more. I didn't think it was a good idea to carry a big ol' piece of raw meat or cheese in my purse while I went on a attempt to find some new 'underthings'. I just couldn't imagine walking into the ariestore knowing what my purse withheld, and on the other hand it I don't know... might go bad.
